Toothache
– Rinse with warm water and gently floss to remove particles that are in between teeth. Should the pain not subside, please give us a call.
Baby Tooth Gets Knocked Out
– Give us a call to schedule an appointment. No immediate care is necessary.
Permanent Tooth Gets Knocked Out
– Immediately give us a call. Do not touch the root of the tooth, hold it by the crown and rinse it with water. Place the tooth back into the socket and bite down on a piece of gauze to hold the tooth in place. Should the tooth be unable to be placed back into the socket, place the tooth in milk or saliva and bring it with you to our office.
Chipped or Broken Tooth
– Should half or more of the tooth be damaged, give us a call as soon as possible. Rinse with water and use a cold compress on the face to bring the swelling down. As with a tooth that gets knocked out, place the broken or chipped piece in milk or saliva to better preserve it.
